A Quick Journey Through the Bible - Week 1

First of all, this was the first week with child care. The kids had fun, while the adults had a good time too in the new study.

This week was an introduction and overview. The main take away was:

• The salvation story of the bible can be more easily read as a narrative; which can be done with 14 books. The remaining books, no less important, are supplemental.
• The Catechism of the Catholic Church helps take all of the Catholic "stuff" we have learn throughout history and organizes in four sections or pillars.

The video was very informative and humorous at times. Our group discussions also was very enjoyable.

Perhaps for the first time in your life, you will understand the overview of the Bible story. This then makes your Bible reading and even the Sunday mass readings come alive like never before.
